Rare Opportunity to Improve Your Game with Three Top 100 Instructors

Updated: Apr 1, 2023

The PGA WEST® Golf Academy in La Quinta, California is offering golfers an incredible opportunity to receive instruction from the best of the best during a Top 100 Experience Golf School to be held at the Golf Academy May 6-7, 2023.

PGA WEST® Golf Academy’s Director of Instruction Bryan Lebedevitch, and Instructors Joe Hallett and Brady Riggs will provide two full days of training for mid-range handicap players striving to get their game to the next level and competitive players who want to gain an edge on their challengers. The two-day school features 16 hours of total game instruction focusing on all aspects of the game including the AimPoint putting method. Master Club Fitter Charlie Rodi will provide custom club fitting. The experience will also employ GameForge, the statistical tracking system that helps golfers fine-tune their skills.

Lebedevitch, Hallett and Riggs are nationally renowned instructors who have been ranked in the “Top 100 Teachers in America” by GOLF magazine, as well as in Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Every State 2022-2023. All three coach golfers at all levels, including PGA and LPGA Tour professionals.

Lebedevitch has more than 25 years of instructional experience. He counts among his students, past and present, elite professional golfers such as former world #1 Cristie Kerr, Mirim Lee, Dave Schreyer, and many more. He has coached at over 40 major championships and five Solheim Cups.

Hallett was recently awarded PGA Master Professional Status, the PGA’s highest educational designation and has won numerous PGA Section awards. He divides his time between La Quinta and Vanderbilt Legends Club in Tennessee where he is Director of Instruction. Hallett has coached top LPGA players including former world #1 Stacy Lewis and Hall of Famer Juli Inkster.

Riggs, who spent most of his career teaching in Los Angeles, most recently has been Director of Instruction at the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii. In 2015, he was selected Teacher of the Year by the Southern California PGA Hall of Fame. He’s been a consistent presence on the Top 100 list and has been fortunate to work with some of the best players in the world on both the PGA and LPGA tours. One of Riggs’ many skills is building combine-style training sessions that help golfers get more out of their practice in less time.

“This is a unique experience for golfers to learn from three Top 100 Instructors at one time,” said Lebedevitch, who added that, after this inaugural Top 100 Experience at the Golf Academy, they plan to put together more events like this.

The Top 100 Experience also includes two catered lunches and one reception-style dinner at the newly renovated Pete Dye Clubhouse where participants will get a chance to try out the new state-of-the-art Trackman 4 indoor golf simulators adjacent to the refurbished bar and lounge. As a souvenir, they’ll go home with a swag bag that includes a speed stick and PGA WEST signature items.

PGA WEST® Golf Academy’s Josh Myers and John Battaglia will also be assisting players during the two-day event. Both top-notch instructors have been recognized by Golf Digest as among the Best Teachers in California. This past January, Battaglia was also designated one of Golf Digest’s Best Young Teachers in America. They enjoy working with players of all levels and seeing their players excel and become more confident in their game.

The cost for The Top 100 Experience Golf School is $2,900 per person (based on 3:1 student/teacher ratio). Space is limited so register today by calling or e-mailing Golf Academy Administrator Eddie Gutierrez at (760) 564-7144, egutierrez@pgawest.com or use the QR code below
